Chocolate Bliss Balls

10 pitted dates
3/4 cup of almonds
2 tablespoons of chia seeds
1 tablespoon of hemp seed oil (or coconut)
2 tablespoons of desiccated coconut (plus extra to roll with)
2 tablespoons of cacao (or cocoa if you don't have any) powder




Roll into small balls, then into the desiccated coconut.
Place them into the freezer for one hour to set. Keep
them in the freezer to store.

PARIS Part Three




We awoke to another gloomy and bitterly cold day.  Stuffing my bag with snacks and other goodies, I was determined to have a picnic at the Luxembourg Gardens. And even though our bones were shivering, that is just what we did.

PARIS Part Two



I was determined to start the morning off in a nutritious, and healthy way... jokes. Laduree was the first stop. Obviously. To be honest, last time I came to Paris I was by myself and made an ill-informed decision to get a pistachio-flavoured macaroon.

PARIS Part One



It was February and we were fresh off the plane in Germany. I was minus one piece of luggage and was definitely feeling the Winter temperatures. We headed straight to Paris on the high-speed train the next day. We were up at sparrows fart as jetlag had kicked in at 5am- we were ready to take the day. Braving the cold we hopped on the metro and headed to our first stop;  the Notre Dame. It is such a beautiful cathedral; the stained glass windows and gargoyles are sublime.
